FIT TIP: One reason it's harder for women to burn body fat than men is b/c we produce more ESTROGEN, which promotes fat storage (for survival & childbearing reasons). Estrogens in the environment & our food could also contribute weight gain. Thus, experts suggest "ANTI-ESTROGEN" foods: Eat organic fruits & veggies (particularly cruciferous vegetables); wild-caught fish for omega-3's, whole grains, nuts & seeds and AVOID white sugar & processed foods.
