Here's a circuit to work your total body! Depending on your speed & pace of each exercise and amt of rest in between each set, this could be a 20-25 minute workout you won't soon forget!
So....what does 9-9-9 Mean?
The first 9 = number of reps you'll perform of each exercise;
The second 9 = how many rounds of the circuit you'll do;
The third 9 = is the number of minutes to finish the entire routine.
Here's the Circuit:
1. Squats: Do 9 reps
2. Pushup: Do 9 reps
3. Bent-over Dumbell Row: Do 9 reps
4. Jumping Jacks: Do 9 reps
That's one round. Your pace will be determined by your fitness: You can rest as needed between each exercise—simply listen to your body & go by "feel."
Do a total of 9 rounds.
Try to complete the entire workout in 9 minutes or less.
If you can complete the entire routine in less than 9 minutes...the NEXT CHALLENGE is rest for 2 minutes, and REPEAT the workout.
GOAL: Try to finish in the same time as you did the first routine. But take it at your OWN PACE!!
If you can reach the 9-min goal for each round, it'll be a 20-minute workout you'll remember!
***PLYOMETRIC/CARDIO VARIATION: If you can easily perform 9 rounds of this entire circuit, try adding plyometrics to the circuit. Change the squats exercise to jump squats & your push ups to plyometric pushups & your jacks to squat jacks.
