Sculpt Circuits Day 17: Strength + Plyo Compound Circuits. Â
Following up a strength exercise with a plyometric exercise for the same body part is a great way to quickly "burn out" or fatigue a muscle group and build strength and endurance, and raises your heart rate. Â
Here I have 4 combinations. I do 5 reps of each and repeat each set twice to save time.
You can go for more reps in each set OR set your timer for 30 seconds and perform each strength exercise for 30 sec, followed by the plyo exercise and repeat both for a total of 2 min intervals.
Circuit: Hot Potato Sumo Squat + Plyo Jacks; Push-ups + Mountain Climbers; Reverse Lunge Step ups Right/Left + Split Squat Jumps; Shoulder Presses + Plyometric Push-ups. Â Good luck!
