Sculpt Circuits Day 9: Unilateral Kettlebell and Plyometric Work.
It's important to work in some unilateral or one sided exercises into your routine to expose assymetries in balance and strength. In this circuit, I use the Kettlebell and you can see my differences in strength on my left side compared to my right and balance on my right compared to my left. This is typical to have greater strength on your dominant side and greater balance on your "non-dominant side." I'm working on it.
This is a circuit of 3 exercises. Perform 15 reps of each. Repeat on the opposite side and complete 3 full rounds. 1). One arm staggered stance swing; 2) Lateral lunge with balanced one-arm press; 3). One-legged jumps. www.sculptmybodyfitness.com
