If you have ever done "Finish in the Minute" Drills, you know that this workout will test your muscular endurance and stamina for sure!
We are combining Strength & Resistance Exercises with Cardio drills, performed back to back in supersets.
This workout is 25 minutes without rest time included, and you will need a set of dumbbells and a timer.
Here it is! Each round is 5 minutes long and there are 5 total rounds. We will be using the same 5 strength exercises for each round and changing the cardio drill for every 5 minute round. Use a challenging weight for your 12 reps in each round!
Set your timer for 5 minutes. At the start of each minute, you will perform 12 reps of ONE of the following strength exercises and finish the remainder if that minute with the cardio drill.
1st minute: 12 Bicep curls, finish the minute with jumping jacks.
2nd minute: 12 Pushups, finish the minute with jumping jacks.
3rd minute: 12 Hammer Curls, finish the minute with jumping jacks.
4th minute: 12 Shoulder Presses, finish the minute with jumping jacks.
5th minute: 12 Tricep Pushups, finish the minute with jumping jacks.
*Variation: Set your timer for 1 minute for each exercise and allow yourself rest in between your finish the minute cardio drills and the start of your next 12 reps of the strength exercise.
ROUNDS #2-5 will follow the same format above, but the "finish the minute cardio drill" will change with each 5 minute round. The strength exercises for Rounds #2-5 will remain 12 bicep curls, 12 Pushups, 12 Hammer curls, 12 Shoulder Presses, 12 Tricep Presses.
